There is a plethora of information about each of the databases on the Alabama Virtual Library (AVL) and available locally through the Jefferson County Library Cooperative (JCLC). I found it necessary to pare down some of the information. These handouts are my attempt to offer a concise introduction to each database within a maximum of two pages. Feel free to download and distribute any of these handouts to patrons and staff.
